Feeling. More like winter. As we flow towards the onyx cave of stillness passing through The Solstice needle’s darkness on December 22, for a long night’s deep sleep where the Goddess breathes life into the Underworld King, dead and asleep, who will rise again come Spring. Together their rhythms, exchanges, deepest natures, essences, blend in sacred marriage rites which intertwine the Fire, the Water, to create balance to renew the land and all Her life forms.

Cycling the Eternal
Serpent Cycles - Wheeling
The spinning Cosmos –
We sleep
We play
Our ancient moon drums –
Ruby wine….
To dance each new day….
Painted Golden
The Great Goddess sails
The silver night stars
She is the moon
The Milky Way
Sustaining, Rebirthing new life –
With Her creamy cosmic milk.

What could reflect the growth cycles, natural rhythms, wonderment at Nature’s joys more than baby Bee? Where last year she pointed to all things “Da Da”….meaning “name this thing.” Where now she calls out in her festive Christmas-Tree lit living room with grand views of Central Park, “hey dad, watch me spin. And slide. Om Ma.”

Ah. So. Hathor. Golden One. Great solar goddess of love, beauty, dance, sexuality and intoxication! Oh spirited Queen of Heaven and Earth helping birth the new Sun King later down the seasons….Most welcome in your compassionate radiance.

Spending times with family, friends, the ancient dance, the Yuletide spices, the magic of Namaste, the depths of black night where Kali too stalks.
